I second this! I would really like to be able to save multiple portfolios on the website rather than always replacing my current “My Portfolio”. Since they can be named, I would think this would not be far from being a feature. Please make it so :).
robininniParticipantThanks for the reply. I noticed that the Portfolio Library’s selection all now are comprised partly or almost completely of the leveraged ETFs. For instance, the “max drawdown less than 15%” is now comprised of: EUO, QLD, SSO, UBT, UGL, and YCS (and GLD being the only non leveraged ETF).
I assume these portfolios in the library are considered appropriate for one’s entire investment portfolio and not meant to be a small portion of a larger, ‘safer’ investment scheme? If so, then I assume these 2x leveraged ETFs are considered safe or at least not excessively risky and therefore having a portfolio comprised of only EUO, YCS, QLD, UBT, and UGL would also not be excessively risky assuming assets are distributed fairly equally among the choices. Is this correct? Is it just the 3x leveraged ETFs than one should be extra careful with?

robininniParticipantWhat’s the problem with receiving a k-1? Just complicating your taxes? It doesn’t result in being taxed any more on the gains does it?
robininniParticipantHey thanks! I’m playing with it now, not sure I am doing it quite right but I think so…
robininniParticipantHow can you find out what the maximum % a strategy will invest in each component that makes up the strategy? As you mentioned above, the max the US Market x2 strategy will invest in equity is 60%. Where is that information given for each strategy? Thanks.
robininniParticipantI downloaded the QuantTrader software but I can’t figure out how to change the tickers in the PP. I’m in the ‘Allocations” window in the lower left corner of the panel where it shows GLD, SPY, and TLT but I can’t seem to change those. I guess with my subscription I don’t have access to the Premium version, maybe that’s my problem?
robininniParticipantOkay, thanks for the clarification. So it’s only for those that were already subscribed to the $49/mo plan, not just any previous subscribers or any subscriber new or old? What is the reduced cost, if I may ask?
robininniParticipantI got the email update for July and read the part about new membership allowing for reduced fees. I’m currently a $29/mo subscriber and it looks like that hasn’t changed for me. Is that right? What got cheaper?
07/01/2020 at 2:46 pm in reply to: New allocations for Aggressive Portfolio total to 115.2% instead of 100% #79282robininniParticipantI ended up reducing the GSY holding down until I reached 100% so I ended up with about 1/3 the listed GSY holding. Gulp…
07/01/2020 at 11:25 am in reply to: New allocations for Aggressive Portfolio total to 115.2% instead of 100% #79271robininniParticipantSo do I just need to figure out the % of each allocation as a % of 115.2 instead of 100?
07/01/2020 at 9:51 am in reply to: New allocations for Aggressive Portfolio total to 115.2% instead of 100% #79268robininniParticipantThanks Alexander, but I guess I’m missing something as I still don’t understand how the allocation adds up to 115.2% instead of 100%. I also don’t see anything shorted on the July 2020 Aggressive Portfolio holdings. What am I missing?
robininniParticipantNice guys, thanks for sharing.

2019 – 2.7 -1.5 1.3 -4.7 2.9 -1.4 1.2 -0.8 0.9 0.5 2.6 3.5How did you produce this ‘Historical’ performance view? And when was this snapshot from? Sometime in December before the major algorithm changes occurred?
NOW: Jan Feb Mar Apr May Jun Jul Aug Sep Oct Nov Dec Year
2019 2.5 1.4 2.9 2.1 -0.2 1.7 1.9 3.8 -1.6 2.1 1.9 3.1 23.7I was ready to stay with Logical Invest for a long time based upon the historical performance given even though 2019 was not going to be a very good year, but now I question whether any of that past performance would have been realized. Seems like a sham with these kind of historical performance changes.
robininniParticipantI don’t have an answer for you but I just posted a very similar question about the Moderate Risk Portfolio changing to a huge allocation in TLT now for September after TLT just had an incredible 10% run in August. It seems we are chasing profits and I hate to put emotion into it, but it seems like a 54% allocation to TLT NOW is not wise. You concern with UGLD is even more alarming.
