Difference between adding a symbol under Hedge vs Equity?

Hello,

I would like to know what he difference is between adding a symbol under Hedge vs Equity in the Strategy manager? The symbols will both show up under the portfolio section and they have the same options. There are only a few strategies that have symbols listed in the Hedge section one of them is “UIS SPXL-hedged (3x leveraged)” and SPXL is in the Hedge section and the other is “MYRS ZIV hedged”, with ZIV in the Hedge section. Any help is appreciated?

Hello Mark,

the symbol put under the “hedge” section is used only for the DR/DRE/DRRP algorithms, formerly it was the last symbol in the equity list, but now we’ve put it into a different field for clarity.
